1. Learn fixed phrases: good at, interested in, afraid of, depend on, listen to, married to, angry with. 2. Time: at a time, on a day, in a period. 3. Place: at a point, in a space, on a surface. 4. Common Indian errors: "discuss about" (drop about), "return back" (drop back), "married with" → married to.
Preposition errors are mostly fixed-collocation mistakes and direct translations from Hindi.
