Tenses elementary easy
Predictions, promises and spontaneous decisions about the future.
Tenses — Expressing time: present, past and future.
1. Form: will + base verb — She will come. 2. Negative: will not (won't) + base. 3. Question: Will + subject + base? 4. Uses: prediction (It will rain), promise (I will help you), spontaneous decision (I'll open the door). 5. "Be going to" for plans and intentions: I am going to visit my grandmother.
"Will" is for decisions made at the moment of speaking; "be going to" is for pre-planned intentions. Both are future; "will" is more neutral.
