Rules

1. Add -s: book → books. 2. -s, -sh, -ch, -x, -z → -es: box → boxes, bus → buses. 3. Consonant + y → -ies: city → cities; vowel + y → -s: boy → boys. 4. -f/-fe → -ves: leaf → leaves (but roofs, chiefs). 5. Irregular: man → men, child → children, foot → feet, mouse → mice. 6. Same form: sheep, deer, fish. 7. Uncountable nouns have no plural: information, furniture, advice. 8. Some nouns are always plural: trousers, scissors, glasses.

Explanation

Learn the common irregular plurals by heart. Remember that uncountable nouns (information, advice, luggage) never take -s.

💡 "Furniture" is uncountable; use a partitive.

Answer: informations

💡 "Information" is uncountable: "much information" / "pieces of information".
